Surtshellir

Approximately a mile in length, it is the longest volcanic cave in the country. In the 10th century the cave and the passages that lead out from the main cavern were used as hideouts for outcasts and bandits who would steal livestock from the farmers and shepherds living in the area.

Mająca około 1.5 kilometra długości jaskinia Surtshellir jest najdłuższą jaskinią pochodzenia wulkanicznego na Islandii. W 10 wieku służyła jako schronienie dla zbirów którzy aby przeżyć kradli owce okolicznym farmerom. 

We encountered some obstacles on our way there / Na drodze napotkaliśmy kilka przeszkód

Our poor Corolla fought bravely on 4x4 road, but last few kilometers we had to walk. It was worth it:

Westman Islands

Westman Islands are situated a few kilometers south of Iceland. You can go there with a ferry or small plane. I decided to go with a plane to have an opportunity to see Iceland from above. 

Westman Islands to wyspy położone kilka(naście) kilometrów na południe od Islandii. Można się na nie dostac samolotem lub promem. Ja wybrałem samolot aby mieć okazję pooglądać Islandię z lotu ptaka. 

Reykjavik:

Golf course / Pole golfowe:
Sport facilities / “Centrum sportowe”

And after 20 minutes islands themselves / I po 20 minutach lotu słynne wyspy 
Looks like wherever they could, they have built a house / Wygląda na to, że domy stawiali gdzie się dało:
We also found some cliffs / Znaleźliśmy też klify:

Including one in a shape of a dog / W tym jeden w kształcie psa! 

And also rock in a shape of human head / A także kamień w kształcie ludzkiej głowy

And finally a lot of sheep / I na koniec mnóstwo owiec:
